Staying Updated on Important Stuff. Use Google Alerts.

It’s not hard to see that there is a lot of information overload going on today.

In that overwhelming pile of information, you will still need to keep abreast of the latest developments in the fields that you specialize in.  And you know you couldn’t possibly read everything on the web.  The information growth is exponential – it doesn’t seem humanly possible to keep up with it.

So, you have to choose.  Be selective.  Read only the things that moves you towards your goals.

How?  Scour the web for updates?  Possible.  Or save time by using Google Alerts.
